Alaskan Cares donates $5,000 every quarter to a small local organization. We choose three finalists each time and invite you to “like” your favorite. The winner is chosen by a lottery system with chances to win based on the number of “likes” you give each finalist. If an organization isn’t picked as a finalist, or doesn’t win the quarterly prize, we encourage them to try again in the future. Some of our $5,000 winners entered many times before winning.
While only one finalist wins the $5,000 prize, we invite you to learn more about each organization and consider supporting them yourself. Our goal is to shine a light on some good people doing great work in our community.
